CODP organizes training on “Gender Equality”

CODP organizes training on “Gender Equality” was organized at CODP on November 17, 2025, in collaboration with Bangalore KROSS and CODP ® Mangalore, under the Women Empowerment Project.

The event was attended by esteemed guests including Mr. Rajshekhar, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Project, KROSS Bangalore; Dr. Rohan S. Monis, Chief Administrative Officer of Kanachur Hospital, Deralakatte and Head of the External Team for Gender Equality and Justice, CODP; Ms. Merlin Martis, Head of Deeds Social Service; Mrs. Seema, Secretary of Manini State Women’s Federation; and Fr. Vincent D Souza, Director of CODP.

Ms. Merlin Martis spoke about gender equality and justice, emphasizing its significance within families and the awareness parents should provide to children from a young age. She explained how internal and external teams under CODP’s Gender Equality and Justice can organize training and programs in society.

The program was conducted by Ms. Supriya, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Project. Fr. Vincent D Souza welcomed the guests, and Mrs. Seema, Secretary of Manini State Women’s Federation, proposed a vote of thanks.
