Beltangady: CODP, CAP Cell hold career guidance, aptitude test for II PU Catholic students


Beltangady, Jul 4: CODP Mangaluru and Career Advancement Programme (CAP Cell) organized a career guidance and aptitude test for II PU Catholic students at Sacred Heart PU College, Madanthyar on July 2.

Fr Jerome D’Souza, CAP Cell director of the deanary welcomed the gathering. Dr Stany Goveas, parish priest, Madanthyar church inaugurated the training programme and addressed the gathering.

Prof Alwyn D’Souza, faculty member of St Aloysius College gave a motivational talk on how to prepare for competitive exam and enter into civil services and serve the nation as citizens. 

Patrick Braggs, MTech, from Bejai, Mangaluru conducted the aptitude test for students. And those who performed well will be called for counselling on Sunday, July 9 at 10 am at Sacred Heart PU College Madanthyar.

Three faculty members of Sacred Heart PU College assisted during the training programme. Altogether, 41 catholic students from Beltangady deanery actively paticipated in the career guidance session and attended the aptitude test.

Suraj Charles proposed the vote of thanks. Before the commencement of the training programme, registration of participants was done. Participants were provided morning breakfast as well as a sumptuous meal.
